Office screens in the town hall of Rijssen-Holten

In an open office space of the municipality of Rijssen-Holten, a number of Sonokoestiek office screens were recently installed.

The various employees in the department were bothered by each other in the execution of their works. An acoustic examination showed that this was caused by cross-talk.

The client indicated that it wished to have acoustic treatment installed, with an open plan character. On the basis of this requirement, a modular constructed office screen was developed, in which sound-absorbing and transparent (glass) modules alternate with one another.

Because of the ventilation plan in the treated area, the screen could not be erected all the way to the system ceiling. The noise reduction in the area amounts to approx. 14 dB.
